Editorial Standards and Sources
SGFleetGuide publishes independent, practical information for Singapore commercial-vehicle owners and fleet operators. Our aim is to make complex ownership, compliance and operational questions easier to understand.
How we research
Where a page covers a regulation, renewal process, licence, inspection, road-use rule or official fee, we check the relevant first-party source before publishing. Depending on the topic, this may include LTA, OneMotoring, Traffic Police, MOM, NEA and other official agencies.
How we separate facts from planning guidance
Official requirements are linked to their source and dated. Calculators, comparisons and checklists use stated assumptions and are planning aids only. They do not replace an official assessment, vehicle inspection, lender, insurer or qualified adviser.
Updates and corrections
Rules, prices and processes can change. We review time-sensitive pages when an official source changes and correct material errors when they are identified. If you spot an issue, please contact us with the page URL and supporting source.
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships, where applicable, are disclosed. Editorial content is not written to guarantee a vehicle, financing or compliance outcome.
